The University of Chicago's Laboratory school is near the commuter train, which is used by a number of students. You should consider that high school, also.

Oak Lawn HS may be a bit far to walk from the Metra station, but it's a quick ride on the 381 - 95th St. Pace Bus, which runs frequently.

The Church of Christian Liberty has their school (K-12, 900 students) in the old Arlington Heights High School building near downtown Arlington Heights. It's about a 6-7 block walk from the Arlington Heights Metra stop.

The first two that came to mind have already been mentioned: New Trier (soph-jun-sen campus) is a 2-3 minute walk form the Indian Hill stop on the UP North line, and Glenbard West is a 2-3 minute walk from the Glen Ellyn stop on the UP West line. Both lines run lots of trains and both walks are do-able even in bad weather.

Lake Park's freshman-sophomore campus is down the road from the Medinah stop on the Milwaukee West line but it's a pretty good jaunt and you'd have to cross busy Irving Park Rd. to get there. Also, if the school decides to move you to the junior-senior campus in the future you'll be driving. Probably not the best choice.

Additional info: New Trier has a reputation as one of the best districts in the state and the Glenbard district isn't too shabby either. The latter also pays quite well.
