I am relocating to Chicago and am working on the warrenville/naperville border. I am worried about a commute that is over 30 minutes. where could I live beside warrenville or naperville?
thanks!

You have many options. I would consider Naperville or Warrenville depending on what you are looking for. We need Price Range, Activities, Style, etc. Then we can help you decide.

Have you thought about living in the Naperville/Warrenville area, or is that completely out of the question. Do you already have a place to stay in Chicago?

Post me again.

I am engaged to be married and we will be renting for a year. after the wedding we will be lookign to buy and will obviously have a better idea of where we want to start a family. In the mean time we would like to rent a townhome or condo as opposed to apartment living(cant stand it). We can pay from 800-1300/month. thanks for the info.

yes would would totally live in Naperville or warrenville but just want to know if there are better and more affordable locations.

If you plan to move to Warrenville, try to avoid a subdivision called, "Summer Lakes"...it used to a great "starter" community, but it is riddled with gang activity and other non-savory goings-on....My opinion is that Warrenville is getting worse...it used to be just ok, now it is not so much. However, the school district is comparable to Naperville's.

you might look west of the naperville/warrenville area along the I88 corridor. we live in sugar grove and my husband commutes to Lucent. takes 25 to 30 minutes and we live on the far side of sugar grove. there are areas in aurora and north aurora right off of the orchard road exit that may have availabilities there are also some townhomes etc in sugar grove. no apartments in sugar grove though!

You should definitely look in Naperville. In Naperville you will have a lot to choose from and plenty of things to do. Try to be close to Downtown Naperville even thought that might be too expensive. Lisle would be a good choice except that there is really nothing to do.

Don't overlook towns along I355 to the south. If your map is not new it may not show I355 extension that goes from I55 south to I80. This may open areas you have not looked at.
