My family is planning to move to Libertyville this summer. I have one high school aged child that will attend Libertyville High School and I'm looking for recommendations for neighborhoods/subdivisions. Is the area to the East of Independence Grove a good area, or is it isolated from the rest of the town?

East is Independence Grove a nice area. It does feel isolated from the rest of Libertyville because it's unincorporated but depending in how far you are north of Buckley, it's not far fron the rest of Libertyville. However, if you're pretty far north of Buckley which a good portion of the area you're talking about is, then it will be pretty far from the rest of Libertyville.

All areas of Libertyville are nice. However, my favorites are: Minear Lake, the area by Butler Lake, and the subdivisions near Butterfield school. Green Oaks/Unincorporated Libertyville is another favorite of mine also. If you look south of Buckley, you won't be far from the rest of Libertyville. Even a little bit north of Buckley would be fine too.
