the homes left in neustonshire in joliet are being picked up by William Ryan builders. That is the only one I have heard of for a sure thing. Anyone hear about neufairfield? I am trying to find out who is gonna be building in there.

Hooray! Thanks for the info giazma, I live in Neustoneshire so this is great news! I was worried it could be years before another builder took over since the housing market is so sluggish. Where did you get this info?

as you may know i live by you in sable ridge and I am looking to buy in lockport once i sell this house, so I called maple hill and they said that they knew where i lived b/c they just bought the rest of the homes in neustonshire. I am hoping they pick up neufairfield where i had money down b/ci would still love to build in there due to me having to live in joliet city limits for my job. but then i would be near lockport like i want.

Thanks for the info and good luck to you with your move. Hopefully another builder will pick up Neufairfield as well.

GIazma-

You should take a look at Weston way. Better construction than those of neufairfield, still with in Joliet limits, and they are having some nice incentives, In my opinion "the best
bang for your buck" as far as quality and customer service.

I live in Weston Way and as far as I know they are not sold out...and have a variety of floor plans. We looked in Neufairfield also....we just love this area...but we found we got more house/options for our money when we saw all that was included as standard features and the variety of choices we had in those features. I would definately check them out and look at all their floor plans....I know they have some great incentives going on now.......the builder is Advanced Home Builders.....and they are really great to work with. Good Luck.

Hello,

I was wondering if your neighborhood had ever been picked up by another builder? I am a Grad student writing an article for my class, and was working on a story about neighborhoods that are being abandoned by builders.

I was curious if you would be interested in talking to me about any developements your neighborhood has gone through, since your original 2007 post.

Thank you.
