For those of you that live in the Aurora/Naperville/Bolingbrook/Warrenville area -- do you feel like too many people live here now?

I'm not sure how long you guys have been living here for, but I moved here in the 90s, so I've been here for a while now. I think the population doubled in that time span, if I remember correctly? From something like 99,000 people to over 200,000 people with a noticeable spike in the time from 2008 - 2010.

Any long time residents of this area feel like it's beginning to be too crowded? With regards to work commute (to and fro), going out to shop, eat at restaurants, etc.?

Don't get me wrong, I love this place, and it'll always be home. But it's beginning to feel really crowded with people from out of town acting like they own the place.

With more shopping plazas going up and people leaving Chicago to seek out the burbs. it would make sense that area is feeling more crowded.

Is that why people around here drive like they're on rural roads? Because they remember when the area was all farms?

Slightly more crowded than it was when we moved into the area 15 years ago.

I've noticed rush hour traffic is pretty bad around 4-6pm along 75th, Eola, Book, etc. More and more restaurants keep popping up to keep up with increasing demand. I keep waiting for half of them to close but they rarely do.
