There is a group on meetup.com called Meetup Mothers of Autism. At one time it wa a very active group, if anything you can search the archive. Also if you are on FB try doing some searches as there are often support groups for locals there. Check to see if your schools have a special needs PTO and contact them. Contact the autism society of Illinois and The Autism Program. Little Friends is a private school but perhaps if you contacted them they can also give you ideas.
