My husband and I have moved back to Chicago and are looking for a nice area to live. We are a young interracial couple, mid and late 20s with a baby on the way. We saved up for a house while living in Michigan for gradschool and decided to move back to be closer to family. Of the 18 yrs that I've lived in Chicago, I've never heard anything bad about cch. Our realtor showed us a really nice house in Bremen township and I just want some feedback of the area. I've been gone for awhile so things may have changed.

I wouldn't recommend Country Club Hills. Look further west towards Orland Park or east into Northwest Indiana.

If schools are a priority, stay away from CCH. I would suggest Tinley Park. It's still affordable, and the schools are a LOT better. You may also want to check out NW Indiana. What's your budget?
