gangs in the STEVENSON HS area????????? (Buffalo Grove, Harvey: neighborhoods, high school, income)

I was in Lincolnshire/Buffalo Grove/Long Grove, and I heard about some drug dealing!!!! I know it sounds silly, but this area is so reputed, does it have gangs?????? I know about a lot of good kids, but is the area actually DANGEROUS to move to??????? Is it becoming like Harvey, and stuff. I know it is 40% Asian, but is the area becoming a hub for gangsters??????

Either you are a troll poster, or simply do not know how the drug trade works.

Even in 'wealthier' areas, there are drug dealers/users. In fact, the amount of disposable income in such areas arguably lends itself to this happening. However it's important to not equate the notion that all areas with drug users/dealers mean an area is necessarily 'dangerous'. This is not the case. Are these dealers on the street corners along Aptikisic rd? Well, no- of course not(!) Supply and demand is met slightly differently in the suburbs than in the more sketchy inner city neighborhoods with gang/drug wars.

There are quite a lot of suburban dwellers of all ages that use drugs. It makes sense from a business standpoint as a dealer to go to where your customers are.

Yes. So? Have you ever looked at a map of the area? Do you even know anything about that area? Or, for that matter, any area at all in the suburbs? You are going to find gangs and drugs from Bannockburn to Barrington and all points in between.

You know it is very scary and we just don't talk about it much. Armed gangs of white little suburban 14 year olds running the mean streets of Lincolnshire. Consider a bullet proof vehicle or Humvee if entering the area especially from east or south.
