highlanderfil, good morning.

If not for the OP, the current (and quite informative) responses that were provided could assist someone else with the same question.

I hope you have a good rest of the day.

When Chicagoisthebest was bumping a 15-year-old thread with barely any activity, he couldn't possibly have known something useful would come of it. Hence my question as to his motivation. By sheer happenstance someone ended up providing an informative response and I'm sure someone will find it and be grateful. So how many more ancient threads do you suggest we resurrect in the name of the same?

highlanderfil, SOMETHING must have motivated Mr. Chicagoisthebest with this particular thread, which by the way:

Now, YOU AND I are keeping it alive, every time we comment on it! LOL

As far as how many more ancient threads should be resurrected? Well, I leave that up to whomever chooses to.

NO ONE is obligated to even open up a thread, nor comment on it.

May I ask, Sir or Ma'am, why does it rub you the wrong way?

Right. Which is exactly the question I asked, the response to which I doubt I'll ever receive.

Well, at this point in time, even if we stop, given the overall activity in this forum, it'll stick around the top for a while.

Never said it did.

highlanderfil,

I hope you get the answers you seek.

And if not, I hope you enjoy the rest of the threads.

Have a very good day. Master Jay

Looks like a couple of city-data.commers submitted lengthy and informative responses!

Who was the OP on it? Hopefully they saw these recent replies.
Actually it was VERY helpful to me as I consider BG, Arlington Hts, Palatine
