Hello All,

We are interested in this property in Lake Willow Way subdivision in Willowbrook:

The property is really nice but my only concern is that it's right next to an industrial area. If anyone has experience with that neighborhood and the schools that would be great, also what would be a good asking price for the property? Thanks and appreciate the advice!

Default Not really "industry"...

The businesses in that area are generally not a negative -- some small warehouses, nothing loud / disruptive.

Townhomes are generally not a choice for families, shared wall can be a negative. Lack of private yard is also not something that families who enjoy outdoors prefer...

Schools are mostly good, though there are older townhomes nearby served by D181 & Hinsdale Central that are more valuable because school issues (especially for divorced families that want to avoid any custody problems...).

Townhomes in Willowbrook are mostly older folks downsizing or younger people with no kids. That might be offset by low cost but social factors are big concern for many parents...

Appreciate the advice Chet, our first preference is single family but townhomes are a last resort. What do you think about that particular property in general? It looks like it was flipped.
