I use myspace and facebook....but both are strictly for keeping in touch with friends and sharing about my personal life (blogs and pictures, etc) things that are far too personal for someone I hardly know....not a good way to meet people in my opinion, its far too personal and detalied, TMI

I'm Male but would recommend that Females do NOT use MySpace for the purposes of meeting people or dating. The thing is, not only will you be contacted by people you don't know, those people are very likely to not be what their MySpace profiles indicate. They could easily have fake photos, education, etc.
People do say eHarmony is a good way for those more serious about relationships. My friend tried it and went on some dates, but nothing materialized. Despite its premise, though, looks are still going to carry a LOT of weight in the process for eHarmony. Because of higher costs, there may not be many users unless you're in a large Metro area like Chicago. For someone still in College, you might want to wait and try to meet people the traditional way before going to eHarmony.

I found match.com to be the better choice than eharmony though most of those reviews make it appear not be so. I check out these Match.com reviews (http://www.datingsitesreviews.com/rating/review.php?rt_id=2010000100-Match) and they give a bit more positive outlook. I can't stand not being able to search. With eHarmony they only give you matches and they are the only ones you can contact. After 3 months of trying I gave up and moved back to Match.com. At least I had some luck with them.

Statistically speaking, by now, the OP was married, divorced, and hopefully got a nice house in one of the more highly esteemed suburbs we talk about on here!
