I would like to find somewhere to part overnight on a Saturday as close to 94 as possible. Whats the best way to do this? Will I get towed parking in a business or retail lot overnight?

Could you be more specific? Most retail/business lots will tow and are marked as such. You might try one of the paid public transit hub parking lots (Metra, Pace, etc.).

From a high level most "business or retail" establishments are not keen on having any cars parked in their lots when they are closed. Interferes with things like maintenance and security...

The same issues mean MOST transit oriented parking is ALSO not going to allow overnight parking. Some may have policies that would allow someone to purchase of monthly permit for a specific "commute from train to office" type situation but that probably is not what the OP wants if they are inquiring about a Saturday...

There a handful of paid garages / lots that might be worth considering, along 294 those would include the many spaces within the municipal garages that Rosemont provides for the hotels, theaters, shopping, and restaurants in the town. A similar option might exist at nearby Rivers Casino in Des Plaines.

The relative low risk of towing / ticketing when leaving a personal vehicle in the parking lot of something like a 24hr superstore might be worth considering.

Actually, I remember a good one near I-94 in Skokie (exit @ Dempster- East).

If you park at the Skokie swift north lot (across Dempster st, towards Gross Point Rd), for $2 you can park for 24 hours. The south lot closer to the station is usually the full one, especially on baseball game days.

More info: Village of Skokie, Transportation, Skokie, IL

Try somewhere along 176 near Lambs Farm (east of 176 & 94).

I am not aware of any overnight friendly lots by 137 or near 60 since it is mostly retail.

For a fee, overnight Parking is allowed at the Telegraph Road Metra Station in Lake Forest, just a mile east of 94

Makes sense there too since they are trying to add an Amtrak stop.
