Generally I agree but these guys had great references and a great portfolio.

I guess I just don’t know any actual ‘handymen’ who carry any sort of legitimate insurance policies.

Those numbers are really huge for a 6x6 bathroom, ask them to come over and so they can get a better look. Have you tried calling some other places?

You are obviously unaware of local costs/pricing. Size of bathroom is not the driver of cost, it’s the overhead.

A few of us have already said it, but this bears repeating:

The square footage of a remodel is rarely the driving cost. Labor, supplies, designing in small spaces, (etc.) all have a big impact. It does not take much longer to tile a 10x10 bathroom than a 6x6 bathroom.
