Wheaton is a wonderful place to live. It has great schools. Parks and library are outstanding plus is has a nice little downtown area. It has parking for the train until you get a sticker for one of the parking lots (lot 9). Its easy to get to neighboring suburbs such as Glen Ellyn and Naperville. I highly recommend looking into Wheaton.

Thank you both for the comments. Esp. Thanks wjj for the extensive post regarding AH and BG. I do appreciate the information. Would definitely appreciate the same info regarding Wheaton from a
person familiar with that area and it’s schools. It is extremely tough choosing an area to live without
knowing either community. Thx again.

Thanks again to all. To those who posted regarding Wheaton- Any comments on the different HS in Wheaton? Differences between WWS and Wheaton North? Also what about the Glenbard schools bordering Wheaton and seem to be schools that some Wheaton addresses will attend? With regard to taxes and the communities of Arlington Heights and also Wheaton could anyone tell me some things that are included in your taxes? For instance is it just services such as police, fire etc. or is anything else included such as recreational facilities or garbage removal or anything of the like?
Thanks again

You need to see how the line items look on a Cook County vs Dupage county RE tax bill. It will show the various components, which will vary a little by individual parcel/location.

Search here for examples inside Cook county (use a home from zillow, etc you like)-
