Naperville is a s..t hole - too far from the city, yet as much expensive, non-stop airplane noise from 4 nearby airports/schools, when night comes BNSF generates noise comparable to an army of tanks covering whole south Naper. All these and car traffic don't improve air quality which is horrible. Nowhere to go, nothing to see, but corn fields.

It is definitely the most bizarre description of Naperville I've ever read.

Right? If Naperville has too much airplane noise, then I don't know anywhere in Chicagoland where they'd be happy. It's also ironic that they're complaining about too much noise and traffic on the one hand, and on the other Naperville is all cornfields. Like, pick one or the other, LOL.

There are two small airports nearby - Bolingbrook and Aero Estates. I think one would have to be overly sensitive to noise and living in a very specific location in town to find it a problem. I dunno, I grew up a few miles from Midway, less than a mile from freight tracks and within a mile of two major hospitals. Maybe I’m just accustomed to background noise.

There are 3 airports and an air pilot school, the school is the most annoying I have ever seen - small low flying old super noisy airplanes, going in circles over your neighborhood every time there's sunny weather, start as early as 6am. They do same over few local parks. Tried to contact Naperville's mayor office asking for some noise regulations - the guy just doesn't give a s..t.

LOL my ass. Ever been to Naperville? It's surrounded by corn fields and nothing else, so "exciting".

Not to say that the rest of the Chicago land is any better, most of it is just utterly boring over-built corrupted s..t hole.

At least areas along the lake have lake access, and better micro-climate.

I don't have tons of experience with Naperville. But, while there might be a cornfield here or there (I mean there is agriculture and rural property scattered throughout Chicagoland), it is firmly within the Chicagoland area. Naperville is surrounded by other suburban settlement.
