I'd say in addition to - Aurora is the second largest city in the state, so no shortage of things to do there. Shorewood you'd have to be careful of where you buy and make sure to be in the area feeding into Minooka. If you go into the area I mentioned, I think if you stay in the boundaries of Oswego, Yorkville or Kaneland, you might be better off.

I have a coworker who lives in N. Plainfield. He really likes it. I think he spends a lot of time in Naperville as it is pretty convenient for him. I have a couple of other coworkers who live on the W Side of New Lenox as well and they like it a lot.

Oh yeah - New Lenox isn't a bad idea either. Possibly also Frankfort, though that's a stretch.

Chesogirl, Move to Yorkville it is 25 minutes north of Morris lots of new construction houses with good schools with nice downtown on the fox river.Oswego is also a really good option and Plainfield.
