Who lives in these townhouses? The ones near the Glen are expensive but I see their appeal. I'm thinking about them as an option to older single family houses but I'd like to know who our neighbors would be. The other ones to the east are also an option.

As it's between the two train stations, The Glen townhouses appeal to the commuters, well it did before Covid! Another group are retirees that enjoy the park district access and park areas, shopping options, healthcare access and being safe. The east townhomes/villas @ Vi on Indigo are all retirement.

The townhomes in Glenview next to the glen in that area are as expensive as homes in Glenview.

The median resident age in the townhome subdivision (Admiral in The Glen) is in the mid-40s according to City-Data.

I think you are talking about Westgate. I think those are a lot of empty nesters, but not 100% sure. Those are the newer ones. The ones in the Town Center have been there for much longer. They are also 4 story. I wouldn't want to live in a 4 story townhome. I did it once. NEVER again.

No, they aren't. Here's a listing:

Also, there are some nice ones over by the train station. They are older than the Westgate ones but I think the whole area is a little nicer looking...nice trees. Then there are some freestanding duplexes over there. If I was picking a smaller home in this area, I would pick there. The streets are more private. Here's an example:
