I'm in Downers Grove and the best places I've had are L&F and Uncle Pete's both in Westmont along with Turnabout in Lemont. I'm looking for a new place in the area though. Anyone have any favorite spots the like to hit up?

Do a search of the forum using the word "Pizza." This has been covered a couple of times.

Default Fav Pizza

"The Silo" in Lake Bluff (I believe it is I haven't lived there in about 7 years) hands down for the best deep dish pizza.

Papa's (in Woodridge and Bolingbrook) does an excellent thin crust.

Little Italian ain't bad; several of those around you. And there's a Home Run Inn at 75th and Lemont; great pizza. There's also a Ricobenes a little east of there on 75th. Ricobene's has great pizza, both thin crust and a first rate Uno's clone.

I've had little italian, pretty good. I think I'm going with Old County Inn, saw it in another thread. If the pappas you're talking about is pappas pizza place, I found them to be way to thin crust for my liking.

If by "recommending it" you meen "it is the best pizza ever" then I am on board!

It is like crack. People have the pies sent all over the country packed in dry ice it is so good.

The original location is in Homewood but there are a few in the West burbs. Great Great stuff!!
