Wondering if anybody has any feedback on Barrington Square area in hoffman Estates? Some streets off of governor's lane look decent(haddam pl,Siwndon pl etc) but some (queensbury,etc) look a little scary....Anbody who lived/living there or well aware of this neighborhood, any reviews would be greatly appreicated, as I know someone that's very keen on moving there and I am helping out.

Then there is this unsolved crime from last week. It may or may not be gang related, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was.
There does seem to be some gang presence in Hoffman Estates.

I live in Barrington and know that area, I shop there and have seen/heard of no problams at all. There has been some problams (few) with mexican youth in Hoffman Estates, but that seems to be a problam in anywhere usa. I certainly would call that paticular area 'safe'.

I used to live near that area. I would call the area safe, although it is one of Hoffman's problem areas. Alot of youth loiter in the area and walk around in groups late hours of the night. My car got broken into and my stereo equipment was stolen some years back and the police officer mentioned I was victim to a local theft ring in the area. But the 2 years I lived there I had no other issues.
