I currently have rented a home in Lake Forest. The landlord has entered the house on numberous occasions unannounced, one time when i was in the shower. Is this grounds to get out of my lease? Any information would be helpful.

Well, with enough money to pay a good lawyer it may be grounds to get out! Probably just depends on how much time and money you are willing to spend fighting, maybe it would just be easier to sublet if that would be allowed.

Landlord entry is typically covered in your lease - have you read/reviewed it? That's where you should start before hiring an attorney.

Landlords are supposed to make every attempt at contacting the tenant before entering the premises and give some sort of advance notice if possible. The only time a landlord can go in unannounced is in an emergency, which I doubt is occuring in this situation.

This definitely was not an emergency. Sounds like an abuse of power. Contact landlord/tenant righs in your area. If you cannot afford an attorney, call legal aid. They offer services at a sliding scale fee.
