Mother in law grew up there before it went crazy with high-end housing development. I remember the A & P, the Ben Franklin, Robert Hall. Don't forget the biggest landmark of all: Glenview Naval Air Station. They used to hold free concerts there by military bands. A friend of mine also used to work at the PX>

Yeah, I know. Technically, this was in Niles, but this Glenview native walked to Golf Mill many times during my youth! Please feel free to post any historical Glenview area pics you may have.
