I live in Oak Brook, and my Jello is green. Because that means money. Cash money.

Uptown Jello is road-slush grey with a sprinkling of crack rocks.

Is the housing market seriously this bad that a board dedicated to informing people about their ideas of moving has moved onto what color jello does your area represent? Holy Crap Obama better do something fast... We have run out of things to talk about on here.

We have better things to talk about. We are just all tired of talking about them. I have no idea what my jello color is but it made me laugh. I was crying all morning about not having a job, rather talk about jello cause I am tired of taling about being out of work

Well, if that's the case, the jello would have to be organic, vegan, and all-natural (no artificial colors or preservatives). Oh, and locally grown/made and fully approved for sale by the Oak Park Farmer's Market board. The jello's packaging would be of Prairie design and deemed "architecturally significant" by the village board. There would be no legal parking anyplace near the store except for two hours (3 to 5 a.m.) on odd-numbered Thursdays in months ending in "R." (Parking would be metered at a rate of $4 for 15 minutes.)

The jello would cost six times the price of any other jello community's jello, and would have to appeal to folks of all ethnic groups. The owner of the store would be the biracial son or daughter of gay parents, have a Harvard MBA and Nader stickers on his Prius.

I could go on, but you get the idea. (And no flaming! I've lived here for 23 years, so I'm entitled to say those things!
