Since all these "worst places" threads keep popping up, let's stop beating around the bush and get real down and dirty here. These places don’t just lack a Starbucks and have ISAT scores below the state average. Oh no. We’re talking famine, lack of safe drinking water, and radiation baby! And that's just Detroit. Pick your poison (pardon the pun).

I'll pick Chernobyl. With everything glowing in the dark, I'll save a fortune on electricity.

Was that Pelosi, California? Egads! I'll stay away from that area. My IQ would instantly go to -100.

Uh, as bad as Detroit is, I really don't think there is famine. In the United States, we have enough of plenty so much that poorer people are often the fattest. As far as the drinking water, well any industrial area is going to have contamination.

So, how about the worst town outside Chicago among . . . Toronto, Zurich, Seattle, and Hong Kong.

S
I disagree. Coney Island Hot Dogs are not food fit for humans. There is no native cuisine in Detroit. Famine - like if you will.
