Hi- I am looking for a restaurant in Barrington that would be a good atmosphere for a girls night out. We just want a place with good drinks/wine and a nice atmosphere where we can chat and have appetizers and/or a light dinner. I heard of Coopers Hawk but I have never been. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I have a few suggestions. Mill Rose Brewerey is a very lively place and very popular. That would be my first choice. Large bar area and fireplace. Then there is Francescas right in town, smaller place but very nice and good food. Onion Pub has a nice bar and restaraunt,, its in the middle of an industrial park off Rt 14. Coopers Hawk is in a new mall in South Barrington. It gets high marks for its burgers but we didnt like the atmosphere at all. Very cold, dull, think cafeteria. Not far from there is Clam Jumper, another 'hot spot', very big place but I like MillRose a bit better for Girls Nite.
Have fun!

I agree with Nanannie. Mill Rose and Francescas both have the best vibe.
In warmer temps, I would throw an outside table at Wool Street into this mix, too. And then there is Pinstripes, if the girls are into games.
