I honestly hate romeoville. There is not much for kids to do here except play in the street, there are gang problems and the teachers all seem to hate their jobs (and kids). People shoot fireworks off a month before, during and after fourth of july. It is terrible.

Some of Romeoville is nice, some isn't. I would recommend the west part near I-55/Weber. Its very developing and a lot of new restaurants, banks, and grocery stores are on Weber alone. Not to mention you would be close to Bolingbrook and Naperville.

The section near Weber and 55 is nicer, newer developments, lots building up in terms of shopping, restaurants, etc. Not sure what school district they go to though. They definately dont go to Naperville. Bolinbrook high shools arent great and though I cant say they are bad I havnt heard naything great about romeoville schools either.

Bolingbrook and Romeoville school district are the same district(365U), although if one was better then the other I would have to go with Bolingbrook. A lot of people hear negative things about the district or know there is a major population of one race over the others and assume the worse.

My daughters went to Romeoville HS and both went to UIUC and did their grad work at UW-Madison. If your kids are sharp, ambitious and hard working they'll be fine there.

From what I understand when Romeoville HS was brand new it was much different than under the recent economic downturn...

I'm a graduate of RHS... class of 1996. back then, it was a school like any other... 15 years later, who knows what it is now.

any new houses they've built in romeoville (my sister still lives there) aren't all that bad so i would assume that the school hasn't dropped all that much.
