if u are 17 and will be 18 soon and have a disabilaty can u recive a section 8

Section 8 is based on income. Disability is not a disqualifier. I don't know if there is a minimum wage or not for public housing. Not all secion 8 housing is public. Illinois does have units for the disabled.

I am disabled i applied for section 8 10 years ago but they told me my name was not on the list not even my social security number but I see people who just applied for section 8 was given a voucher I thinking about taking them to the better business

the list is close for ill call hud or go to there website hud .gov to find low income housing for your mother

they haveopenings in riverdale ill for senoirs riverdale senior apts 335w138th st in riverdale also call the cook housing office for other places they have openings 175 west jackson st sute 350 or go on there websits for an application www.thehacc.org goodluck
