Clarification to you Jericho: I was addressing my "drop a house comment" to the poster who calls him/herself Chi Cool, not you. However, it was your post where you stated, "When I hear people make statement about black people at their beach, ...." that seemed to kick off the ours/theirs drift. Anyway, no harm, no foul on that score.

There is definitley something going on with the bangers and for whatever reason they have taken their ghetto street drama to the lakefront. I stand by my assertion that I'd like to see it squashed. This applies to all races, creeds, and colors who would go out to the beach or any public gathering and exhibit behaviors that show zero social skills and purposeful intention to intimidate and disrupt.

I took what Chiguy1957 wrote to mean "Thugs" and not to place blame on AA's in general. I have seen these "Thugs" and have been there on the beach when everyone who wasn't part of their group (which includes many people besides just "white folks") clear out. Good people of all ethnicities know when to walk away when they see trouble coming.

I agree with you 100%, I simply mis-understood chiguy57. Thugs of all kinds are people I wouldn't like to hang around.

Sure it does. There is one in Humboldt Park at the lagoon.
There are beaches on the South Side and small beaches in Rogers Park as well as a beach on the edge of Uptown and Edgewater.
