Which city is better in your opinion, Chicago or NYC? Im asking people from both cities beause Id like to know the opinions of real people in each city. If you live in Chicago and could move to NYC would you?

Search the forum please. Especially the city vs. city forum. There really is no need to visit this topic again for the 100th time.

While a generally knowledgeable person he is also a forum Nazi. Pay no attention.

NYC is bigger, has more stuff etc etc. Broadway, strong music/tv industry etc etc.

Chicago has anything that 95% of the population could need and is generally more convenient. We have a lake. We also have ****ty winters.

It's just a matter of personal preference.

Well where I'm from the winters are alot worse, northern lower Michigan... but NYC just feels safer to me, maybe its just me. And it seems like in Chicago things close up shop faster, NYC seems like more of a 24 hour place.
