It certainly wasn't a strong post, but I can see feeling like the backlash is a bit over the top. Nothing you said or alluded to hasn't appeared in hundred of other posts. It's also a fair question on some level(if I understood what you were asking). I think what you're witnessing is a general weariness among veteran members about the predictable trajectory of all of these race-related discussions. There have been many and, regardless of exactly how they start, they all end up in more or less the same place. No one learns anything and it gets old.
