You do if you live in Manhattan (which is what most New Yorkers mean by "New York") and you're on in the entry level of six figures. Obviously you can get more space the further out you go in the other buroughs.

Chicago only has 250 murders as of 7-24-10 , thats 3 less then last year. NYC has 272 as of 7-14-10. Chicago is not bad or dangerous.....you people just are just (wah wah wah) lol, murders are down 25% from 2000, Chicago in 2000 got 660 murders, Chicago last year got only 458, this year so far 250 as of the 25th, three less then last year. Quit trying to make Chicago look bad when theres like two dozen cities in America with higher murder rates.

Which means Chicago has double the murder rate. Albeit most are isolated. For a city that is so up and coming, crime is indeed a major issue in Chicago if it wants to grow and continue to attract companies and high skilled employees.
