I am ready for a huge life change. I have been in Dallas for 13 years and so tired of the city here and desperately looking for a change of scenery and people. I am a 26 year old single female with a background in Advertising and Media. I want to relocate to a place with more outdoor activity and walking capability. I have visited Chicago numerous times and love the city. I am originally from Minneapolis so maybe have some familiarity from that. I am extremely active, love shopping and nightlife but want a city with more active and down to earth people too. (Dallas can be extremely pretentious) As far as living in Chicago, is it relatively safe as long as you reside in the more upscale areas? How is it for singles..Is it easy to meet people? I come from a very strong Scandinavian heritage and would love to meet more people with that background like I often did in Minneapolis so wondering if that is something common there? Any feedback or opinions would be great! Thanks so much!
