What is your fav bakery for birthday cake? Looking for a place with amazing cake both flavor and design. Any recommendations? Prefer north side or downtown.

I have always used Bittersweet but looking for someplace that has a light frosting. This is for my soon to be one year old.....many thanks!

If you're a member of Costco they make good cakes at a nice price. Jewel and Dominick's make good sheet cakes too. Stick with the grocery store unless you're going for the gusto and you want one of those cakes with 2 inches of fresh strawberries and bananas in the middle.

I've never bought from here, but a coworker recommended it to me last year:
