I was wondering about the Link up sticker. It says for use on CTA buses, does that include the train? Thanks

I would hope so.

Doubt it. How would you get through the turnstiles? Flagging down a C/A to unlock the gates for you may get impractical and/or impossible.

I think Metra still offers the link up as a fare card (which you can use for the train) rather than a sticker. It's not listed on the Metra website but the CTA website shows it as an option. May need to call and check (or ask at one of the downtown stations). I bought one in April of this year with my pass.

thanks for the replies. I've been to Chicago a handful of times and planning on moving once I secure a job. I'm trying on getting rid of my car and just get by with my wife's. She teaches, otherwise we'd probably just look for an apartment downtown.
