I live in Kansas and will be visiting Chicago in July. I have 2 tickets to the White Sox - Cubs game on July 3, but I will be traveling alone. Where would be the best place in Chicago to make a friend that would go to the game with me?

I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules by asking this. If so, I'm sorry.

Go early to ...

The Gingerman Tavern - Wrigleyville - Chicago, IL

You'll easily find a new friend who will go to the game with you!

But isn't the July 3 game at USCF?

EDIT - I just checked my schedule. I'm wrong, that series is at Wrigley.

Whose bright idea was it to schedule the other Cubs/Sox series (at USCF) during the week? Stupid!!

It depends on if you are a man or woman and if you are looking for a man or woman.

Place a Craigslist ad in the strictly platonic section. I saw one recently for one of the baseball teams; actually, it's quite common for all the teams!
