A friend of mine works in production of the Discovery Channel game show "Cash Cab"; and for those that have not seen it, it is the most bada$$ gameshow ever

Cash Cab : Discovery Channel

I was speaking with said friend, and was told that they are ending the series in NYC and will be moving it to Chicago starting this winter. Not sure if it is official, but would be pretty cool.

Discuss.

I've heard that this is happening. No quotable source, but plenty of hearsay. I've heard that auditions were held recently for a host.

Would love if Ben Bailey continued to host!

All I can say is maybe three months ago I was walking the streets of Chicago (I wish I could remember where) in the evening and some van or SUV pulls up and somebody leans out the back window and shouts "Hey!" I look up. "This is cash cab!" they say, (paraphrasing) "can you help us answer a trivia question?" I immediately looked away and kept walking, and they pulled off pretty quick.

Darn kids!!

This made me laugh aloud.

If you think New Yorkers are unfriendly, you have never met a Chicagoan trying to get someplace. We tend to not take kindly to people bothering us.

I hope Cash Cab comes here. I like the show and I always think I'll be damned if I climb out of a cab waving a wad of cash like that.
