I'm deathly curious, WHY was the Chicago forum considered the best place for this thread? never mind the fact that APU is located in in West Virginia, the question is about online colleges. nothing, nada, zip, zero to do w/ Chicago (other than the fact it's the OP's location), unless I'm missing something major.

American Public University is the civilian component to the American Military University. I have heard it is reputable. It is also not expensive but helps a lot and financial aid is easy there.
