Actually you can view places where Capone's crew operated on Al Capone tours in Cicero and on the West Side. Sounds like the OP was watching the HBO Show Boardwalk Empire as this was a central theme of the episode. Chinatown is a lot smaller now. I don't think that lifestyle exists anymore.
