It is safe over there. That is a gentrified area of Logan Square. It's close to attractions in WP/Bucktown and easily walkable to the California and Western stops. I live further west on Palmer but bike this stretch of California and Cortland 20 times a week.

All very interesting. Condominiums in chicago became a rage, in the last twenty years, under daley, who has always been in the hip pocket of chicago realtors and businessmen, who are the money beneficiaries of how condo laws are written. The financial angle on condo "ownership" in chicago, is a total ripoff. "Ownership"? Is that what it is? Oh yes. The stories about "parking space" ripoffs with chicago condos are nothing short of "mind blowing". And, all that is considered "normal".

If I liked the price and property, I would move into that area.

What an odd reply to a question about location safety.
