As mentioned before, VTC is a crew. Same as J4F, CAB/312, CMK, CMW, BAD, TDM, etc.
Also agreed on the "you people should stop talking about things you know nothing about".
Yeah, well people do tag personal property even with the unwritten law. I wouldn't talk about this if a knew nothing about it.

The interesting to look at encourages the other which has also affected my life. Hence I cover the "interesting" things to look at to decrease the chance of those that can "affect" my life from feeling comfortable in their "interesting surroundings"

You are talking about the broken windows theory. I don't buy it.

Graffiti is very prominent in low-crime hipster areas like Wicker Park. It's maybe even the most prominent.

Graffiti is most prominent along train lines and in/on abandoned buildings. There's graffiti in pretty much every part of Chicago; you just have to know where to look.

A lot of tags come from hipsters.
And are in hipster neighborhoods.

A lot of throw ups and murals are from non hipsters.
Those are the better ones.

People probably still have the image of a tagger being some black or latino kid when in reality most are white guys.

It's the same principle. You choose not to argue it because you can't.

My building would look much nicer if the graffiti didn't have to get blasted off the bricks 2-3x a year.

I disagree. I think they can both be clumped into the a-hole bin.

Yeh, you're right, us people in our 30's and 40's are now longer down with it. We're stuck in the days of stone washed jeans and long sweaters.

What grade are you in? Because although it's a sobering thought, your maturity level tells me you're in high school, so I can somewhat look past your thought process. However, if you're out of high school and in your 20's, God help us (and good luck working at Starbucks the rest of your life).

Just like a geezer.
Anyone who doesn't think like them will be a failure.

Perhaps not. On the other hand someone who thinks like you probably will. See the difference?
