Hello I'll be relocating to Chicago at the end of this month. I've seen some old posts regarding sublets and short-term housing but nothing recent.

Try Oak Park. The OP Regional Housing Center may be able to find short term lease. It is about 8-9 miles from the Loop but every form of transportation from train, bus, and zip car is available there. Do stay at least 3 blocks from Austin as it is not a very good place to live.
