You might like Lakeview or Wicker Park too.
Thanks ill take a look at them

do you know where the uni of Chicago is located?

The actual University of Chicago is in Hyde Park. That said, there are a bunch of universities in Chicago.Google is your friend, a lot of your questions could be answered that way.

Try this site: LTHForum.com • Index page They have a section under Resources that is about "Great Neighborhood Restaurants" Check that out before you ask questions. That forum is really serious about good food, so the restaurants in that list have been thoroughly discussed before they get listed there.

Lake Meadows Area, West Town & Wicker Park are greate places to start.

Lake Meadows: Really chill minutes from the gold coast and the Bears Stadium
West Town: West Downtown, easy access to the interstate, great restaurants and the United Center isn't too far aray
Wicker Park: Great Restaurants, Great night life, lot's of shops to get cool clothes, music and the sorts. A little east of down town.

I don't know why you would say West Town. It borders EGP...and, according to you in another thread, it's hell on earth. Maybe you meant West Loop?

How in the heck are you getting that Wicker Park is "east of down town"? It is northwest of downtown.

And also - FYI, Wicker Park is considered to be part of West Town, as are Bucktown, Ukrainian Village, and Logan Square...
