I always use Hotwire. I always pay under $100 a night and they have always been decent places.

I'm sure there are plenty of deals to be found via Hotwire, Priceline, and so forth. All I'm saying is that if she were to come into town without using one of those services in advance, or bidding on a room through a website, she should not expect to find anything cheap in that immediate area.

Well if you're really going for the bottom of the barrel downtown there's: The Congress, Ohio House, the Best Western in River North, the Best Western on S. Michigan and 11 Street, the Tokyo Hotel and the Howard Johnson on Superior and LaSalle.

Off the top of my head those are the worst I can think of but I'll let you know if anymore come to mind.
