Why so a poor and boring website, for world's busiest airport?

you might be the first person I've ever encountered who went to an airport's website before for anything other than checking their wifi access.

I think Atlanta's Hartsfield Airport outpaced O'Hare as the busiest a while ago

It was designed by the community college HTML professor.

Are you kidding me? Whenever I fly into somewhere new, I sort of want to know the best way out, and how to get to transportation....especially when travelling international.

and do you get that from the airport's website? I don't. I usually get it from wherever I booked my flight.

It's baffling. The website for ORD (and MDW for that matter) look like they were designed by a not very bright high school student. It's hard to even find the official website online.

Probably some political hire mook was hired to handle the websites for the airports and has as much knowledge in web design as a 3rd grade kid.

I agree and to this date their website still looks outdated. PANYNJ has done job better.

It isn't the fanciest or the most "smooth" looking site, but it works. It could be worse, ya know.

It could use a bit of a refurb, but the website seems perfectly usable to me.
