Hi everyone. I've been on here researching to get a better idea of what neighborhood to move to there. I'm seriously looking at Uptown as an option. I appreciate everyones' help and advice they've given so far. My budget will be pretty limited when I first get there and I'm trying to figure out extra ways to save money. Are there any good bargain stores there downtown you suggest? I love dollar store and thrift shopping to save a buck. Just wondered if anyone has favorite spots they would like to share

There is a chain of thift shops called Village Discount Outlet that seems to be hit-or-miss depending on location. Another local chain that also seems hit-or-miss is Unique Thrift Store. And of course there's a smattering of Salvation Army stores around the city.
