Hello everyone. We are relocating to Chicago next month and going to look at rentals in the next week. We are pretty keen on a condo rental at 910 West Huron Street, in River West. We have read that it was converted to rentals as it did not sell units during the difficult economy.
I am writing to see if anyone has any thoughts/information about this property, particularly.

Is the area isolated?
Safety?
Is the blue line train stop really a 7 minute walk?

Thank you for any information on this property/area. We appreciate it.

The area is sort of in a wierd spot wedged right between the highway and the river, but I wouldn't call it isolated. It's a safe area, the blue line is right at Chicago ave, so i might not even take 7minutes to walk there.

isolated but not dangerous. It's part of a manufacturing/industrial corridor chopped up by the Kennedy Expressway, train tracks, and the river. It's safe.
