So, we've decided to move to Chicago permanently and I am so excited! What are some things that we "MUST SEE/DO" when we get there?? (Don't say Sears Tower, as we've already been there)

Congratulations on your upcoming move. Most folks I know love living here. Are you going to be living in the city or suburbs?

Since you will be permanent residents I imagine you may want to enjoy exploring the many neighborhoods as each is a little different both in terms of culture and architecture.

Do you have a job lined up? How far away are you moving from? Are you renting or buying a place?

^^^ You really have to SEE it to believe it. The photos do no justice...

I'm sure the artist likes its location here though, because if he had set it in front of the House of Representatives, no one would notice it.

It's at Wolcott and Augusta I believe.

Hi HCMallen - make sure that you bring a gun, and a bullet proof vest. This past year, most of Chicago (including the wealthy fun neighborhoods) have turned into extremely violent and dangerous places to be.

Also - Welcome to Chicago!
