Pls recommedn any inns/condos/cabin in galena for the long weekend...we had some last minute plans but culdnt find anybody who stayed in that area

Have you tried to book a room anywhere? It can be impossible to find a room at a B&B or inn in Galena proper at the last minute.

HI ringwalk ... eagle ridge was very expensive like 220 /night.... but yes it has rooms available ...
there are rooms available..but wanted to get an opinion from somebody who stayed there ...

The Grant Hills Hotel is the cheapest decent place you can find in those parts.

Geeze that's nuts! We went up there in October one year I think with about a week or two notice and couldn't find a place to stay in Galena. Eagle Ridge was nowhere near that expensive when we went...or we wouldn't have gone!

Yeah ..even I dont want to spend that much...coz we will anyway be roming in galena ... and just have to sleep after coming back.... so looking for somthng cheaper and if possible with a view....
