Hi everyone.

I want to start a thread and I want to get people a little mad at our city. I saw a thread sometime ago where someone complained of all the new onerous fees, fines, taxes etc.
Here's something to think about. Our nice Shedd Aquarium has its president/CEO or whatever you want to call him making $894,752.00 in compensation in '08. The guy at the Field Museum pocketed $533,047.00.

In incredible dismal economic times our public entities give out compensation like this. When you pay your admission fee or donate your hard earned money - half of it goes into the pockets of these guys and gives them a wonderful life and lifestyle...not to where it should go, making the museum better for all. I wish I knew how we could change this and of course, stop these stupidly excessive city salaries and pensions, inane parking fees, taxes, tickets ...and I could go on and on.
Perhaps I can get someone out there mad that knows how to change this or will let us know how we might be able to reverse these travesties.

Think of how good our city could be. I have lived here my whole life and cannot remember when it was this bad in terms of the gouging and rape of its residents. Have a good weekend and I hope I made you a little mad at the corporate and city criminals that run things in our area.
