I can't believe this weather! It is so nice right now, but I am definitely worried about summer. My husband and I slept in our basement last night. I can't believe we did that in March. We have a bedroom set up down there (finished basement) and we usually sleep down there all summer. I just can't believe we had to do it so early this year. Sleeping in a cooler room is the best though.

I can't live without it. We just moved into an old home, putting in spacepak and very excited about it.

I'm not being a douche! That was just a disbelief comment. Don't overthink it.

I have to say I have lived here my whole life and I can't recall such a mild winter and such warm weather in mid-March, I already have moths and flies flying around my yard...Crazy. That being said, I agree, I think we are going to get some NASTY storms this Spring

I mentioned how nice the weather was to a stranger on the elevator and he replies "yea, but don't ignore the dark side" to which I said "what dark side?" and he's like "the summer drought we're going to get!"

My first impression was: Man are some people Debby Downer pessimists! They can't enjoy anything for what it is.

My second impression: I'm not a farmer, what the hell do I care about a drought.

My third thought: Just because we have great weather in March does NOT mean we'll have abnormal weather or drought conditions in summer, so it's only a POTENTIAL dark side, not a reality.

Still, I just think many people's brains are wired to be unhappy and have negative attitudes in light of any positive occurrences. It's sad.

During Fall of 2011, the coming winter was predicted to be the coldest ever with more than average the amount of storms... I remember this being repeated and I'd say "they can't tell you what's going to happen 2-3 months away". And that's true. Why they try to predict for months out, I don't understand.
