That would be such a relief. The snow is piling up out west, and I hope it blows over here unexpectedly.

I'm actually dreaming about temps in the 30s and snowfall. I'd like to see snow at least once again before next winter. Not a lot, you understand, but an inch or two might be nice. I'm not holding my breath, however.

How can I get excited about the first day of Spring when I've already been sweltering in summer heat for the past seven days? I noticed that the trees are budding and blossoming already -- that is unheard of in these parts this early. We usually don't see that until late April at least, and sometimes not until early May.

This is very, very abnormal.

Usually when a warm up in March occurs people are thrilled.
Seems different with this warm up, just an observation.

More people seem to be yearning for a bit cooler weather.

Could be our true colors are used to a typical March weather pattern vs.
this sub-tropical feel we are all experiencing?

It's great to get early summer in Chicago, I mean, wow, I can eat outside on the patio and everything, BUT... I can't escape the fact that SOMETHING is seriously wrong about back-to-back 86 degree days in Chicago in March. This is so massively abnormal that I watch the news often hoping that this bizarre weather will get some attention, I even tweeted at Skilling my concerns (I got no reply)... they go on the air night after night and basically say "unseasonably warm weather continues"... NO! F*chkead, this is some crazy ass history making s&it right here! Can we recognize that, please! Say something besides "unseasonably warm continues!"

Yeah I am just waiting for the flocks of birds to come dropping out of the sky.

Then maybe just maybe the unusual weather pattern will get some attention.

In the meantime we will continue to see the usual shots of summer-springtime revelers
The usual summer shots of people jogging along lake shore or the sun bathers basking in the march sunshine
or perhaps the person reading a book in the park..

What's really odd is how fast these damn bugs came back. I'm in an epic battle with the wasps over my garage door already. I wasn't expecting to have to do this until May so I wasn't prepared and they are winning lol. I'll get them this evening though with some Hot Shot spray.

It will hit 75 today in Boston, and possibly 85 tomorrow, and then cool off into the 50s for the weekend...

This is too much, too soon, and just a reminder of worse days to come in July and August; I want my air conditioner to gather a little more dust until I need to use it...

I would really like to see 3 months of weather from the 60's to high 70's.
